11/17 Men's Soccer Bracketology Breakdown

Indiana Men's College Soccer

Last Four In: Gonzaga, Wisconsin, Northwestern, UAB

First Eight Out: VCU, St. John’s, Xavier, Saint Louis, Stanford, Butler, Michigan, Temple

There were basically four “upsets” this weekend that stole away a bid from the bubble. Drexel made it in by winning the CAA title game over William & Mary. The Tribe, along with Delaware figure to be in the field, but Delaware should be sweating it out. George Mason won the A-10 title and took themselves off of the bubble. As a result, Saint Louis and VCU are now on the wrong side of the bubble. In the Big Ten Indiana is back in the NCAA Tournament with a 1-0 win over Michigan State in the conference championship game. Right now we have five Big Ten teams in the tournament, but that number could be three as Wisconsin and Northwestern are squarely on the bubble. And lastly, South Florida knocked off Connecticut in a thrilling nine rounds of penalty kicks to take away yet another tournament spot. The Huskies and Louisville will join the Bulls in the NCAA Tournament, but some team will be left out due to USF sneaking by Uconn.
