10/21 Men's Soccer Bracketology Breakdown

Penn State Men's College Soccer

Last Four In: UC Irvine, Elon, William & Mary, Tulsa

First Four Out: Cal Poly, St. John’s, Old Dominion, Temple

Penn State is running away with the Big Ten regular season title. They are a perfect 4-0-0 with games against Northwestern and Ohio State remaining. The Nittany Lions have outscored Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State by a combined score of 10-3. However, Penn State is not the only team in the conference making noise. Michigan State, Wisconsin and Northwestern are all looking pretty safe when it comes to NCAA Tournament bids. Even Michigan has won four of their last five contests following a slow start to the season. And, of course, Indiana is always dangerous and Ohio State has turned into a nuisance after some on-field changes and they have tied their last two games against Michigan State and Northwestern. Six of the seven teams make the Big Ten Tournament, held this year in Columbus, and it anybody could take home the title.
