Week 5 FCS Football Game Breakdowns
Sam Houston State fell to Central Arkansas. Youngstown State beat Northern Iowa and Taylor Heinicke threw for 730 yards in Old Dominion’s victory over New Hampshire. Those three games, among many others, shaped the playoff picture and there will be plenty more where that came from this week. The cream of the crop this week is North Dakota State travelling to the UNI Dome to take on the Panthers. This is almost a must win for Northern Iowa thanks to their crazy schedule. Central Arkansas will look to keep the good times rolling this week with a tough trip to Stephen F. Austin. Out west the big game is Montana and Eastern Washington. The Grizzlies are in dire need of a quality result and winning in Cheney would certainly fit the bill.
