Week 5 Football Bowl Projections Breakdown

Two top ten showdowns dominated the slate this week. Notre Dame hosted Stanford and pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 38-17 victory. The Cardinal are still a serious contender in the Pac-12, but that win was big for the Irish. With wins over Michigan and now Stanford, Notre Dame has some quality wins on their resume. This week they head to Virginia Tech and a win there and the Irish will likely head into their tough stretch of games to end the season with a perfect record. The other top ten game saw Ohio State win a thriller at Penn State. The Buckeyes were down 26-14 in the fourth quarter, but Dwayne Haskins orchestrated two touchdown drives for Ohio State to pull off the 27-26 victory.
