For many conferences there is just one week left before conference tournaments begin. Usually it is smaller conferences and Arch Madness in the MVC that highlight the week of conference tournaments, but this year the Big Ten is playing a week earlier than normal. For bubble teams like Nebraska and Penn State that means time is running out to impress the committee. Of course there will be opportunities at Madison Square Garden, but for now those two teams face off in a huge game on Sunday evening. The winner will likely be the fifth team in the Big Ten in next week’s bracket. However, the Cornhuskers have to get past Indiana and Penn State faces a tougher test against Michigan before the big bubble showdown that concludes the Big Ten regular season.
