2/12 Women's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Minnesota, Nebraska, USC, Virginia, Miami (FL), Marquette, Creighton, California

First Eight Out: TCU, Purdue, Central Michigan, Duquesne, UCF, Virginia Tech, Houston, Alabama

The Big Ten is full of bubble teams right now. The big winner this week was Minnesota, who picked up wins over Purdue and Penn State. That victory over the Boilermakers has moved the Golden Gophers into the bracket and Purdue on the outside looking in. However, that will likely change again. Nebraska’s conference record is 9-3, but their low RPI leaves them squarely on the bubble. Like Minnesota, Iowa is trending in the right direction, while Rutgers, who appeared safe a couple weeks ago, have lost six of their last seven games.
