12/25 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Temple, Texas, Syracuse, Rhode Island, Auburn, Utah, Maryland, SMU

First Eight Out: Florida, Clemson, Georgia, Washington, Mississippi State, Oregon, San Diego State, Virginia Tech

The big upset this week was Wofford’s 79-75 victory over North Carolina. Wofford has a great win on their resume, but they will still need to win the Southern Conference title in order to reach the NCAA Tournament no matter what happens from here on out. Another team to watch out for is San Diego State. The Aztecs knocked off Gonzaga on Thursday and now have a couple good wins. In the MWC, which has a few good teams, there are plenty of opportunities upcoming for SDSU to pick up more big wins and work their way into the NCAA Tournament conversation.
