First Four Out: UCF, South Alabama, Florida Atlantic, Kennesaw State

The Oregon Ducks ran into their kryptonite this weekend down in Los Angeles as UCLA once again rose to the occasion and took two of three games from Oregon. For the Bruins, the pitching was absolutely brilliant in the first two games as the Ducks were held scoreless and only mustered ten hits over the course of 16 innings. Offensively, UCLA was opportunistic as they won the second game of the series on Saturday night in the bottom of the ninth inning on a passed ball. Alabama and LSU had an excellent battle over the course of three games down in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide took two of three games from the Tigers. Alexis Osorio overcame control issues, walking ten batters in her two starts against LSU, but found a way to get key outs when she needed them. Notre Dame is surging in the ACC and they have won their last two conference series against Louisville and North Carolina, who are both NCAA Tournament caliber teams. Michigan has won 14 out of their last 15 games and they went on the road to Columbus and took two of three games from fierce rival Ohio State. Faith Canfield went 7-for-10 during the doubleheader on Saturday and that the set the tone for a very explosive offensive performance by the Wolverines.
