3/11 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Rhode Island, USC, Providence, Vanderbilt, Xavier, Kansas State, Wake Forest, Marquette

First Eight Out: Syracuse, Illinois State, California, Houston, Mississippi, Georgia, Indiana, TCU

Rhode Island beat St. Bonaventure on Friday afternoon in what amounted to a must win game for the Rams. They may need to win another one to reach the NCAA Tournament. While Davidson is certainly a tough team that can beat anybody, not having to play Dayton, who Davidson upset, could be a mixed bag for the Rams. The game could be more likely to result in a victory for Rhode Island, but it does not build their resume nearly as much as a win over Dayton would.
