First Eight Out: Rhode Island, Illinois State, California, Houston, Mississippi, Georgia, Indiana, TCU

Many bubble teams are trying hard to playing their win. Xavier and Kansas State both picked up huge wins on Thursday. The Musketeers knocked off Butler, while Kansas State boosted their resume with a win over Baylor. Those two are in the tournament for now. California slipped past Utah in the Pac-12 quarterfinals, keeping their hopes alive. However, with the way the bubble is looking now, they will likely need a win on Friday as well to fight their way into the NCAA Tournament.
