2/27 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Illinois State, Rhode Island, Syracuse, Seton Hall, TCU, California, Northwestern, Marquette

First Eight Out: Kansas State, Houston, Georgia Tech, Mississippi, Wake Forest, Providence, Vanderbilt, Georgia

The big news this week was Gonzaga suffering their first loss of the season. Losing a game is not always a bad thing and now it is time for the team to respond during the WCC Tournament. Another loss by Gonzaga could see their confidence shaken and their seed slip down to the two line. The good news for the Bulldogs is that they will not have to face BYU or Saint Mary’s until the final. That should give the Zags a couple games to build confidence next weekend before the big game in the WCC final against, presumably, either BYU or Saint Mary’s on March 7th.
