Last Eight In: Rhode Island, Syracuse, TCU, Seton Hall, Michigan, Marquette, Oklahoma State, California
First Eight Out: Illinois State, Texas Tech, Houston, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Mississippi, Wake Forest
The outside of the bubble is becoming littered with SEC teams. After Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina and Arkansas, there are eight teams with 14, 15 or 16 wins and all of them have a shot at going on a run and reaching the NCAA Tournament. Alabama was the big winner last week, with victories over Missouri and LSU. The Crimson Tide are also the only one of those eight teams with a winning record in conference play. Their RPI is not very good and by far their best win is at South Carolina, but that conference record looks a lot better than the other SEC bubble teams. The Tide do have more opportunities to separate themselves from that massive pack of SEC teams since their last four regular season games are all against teams that also have 14, 15 or 16 wins.
