Week 3 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

Week 3 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

What many dubbed to be Separation Saturday did not quite live up to the hype as teams like Florida State and Oklahoma failed to put up much of a fight. Regardless, teams were separated. Louisville still has a long way to go, but beating the Seminoles 63-20 immediately made them legitimate playoff contenders. The Cardinals have two very tough games away from home left this season against Clemson, on October 1st, and Houston on November 17th. A loss to Clemson would not necessarily end their playoff hopes, but they would somehow have to still win the ACC Atlantic Division over Clemson and win the ACC title. It is the Tigers, who travel to FSU on October 29th, who are projected to win the conference title and head to the playoffs…for now.
