Week 6 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

Week 6 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

The Big 12 continues to be one of the most interesting conferences to watch this season. Texas, coming off of an awful loss to TCU, beat Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry by a score of 24-17. That knocked Oklahoma from the ranks of the unbeaten. TCU and Baylor are still the teams to beat in the conference, but TCU barely escaped Manhattan with a win. It is not necessarily because TCU and Baylor are vulnerable, but the strength of the rest of the conference means both the Horned Frogs and Bears need to be careful prior to their 11/27 showdown. TCU and Baylor still travel to Stillwater to take on currently unbeaten Oklahoma State. West Virginia and Oklahoma will be tough games for TCU too and Baylor has a trip of their own to Manhattan coming up on November 5th. It needs to be remembered that Baylor is 5-0, but they have not played anybody yet. After the K-State game, the schedule finishes with OU, OSU, TCU and Texas. That’s a tough stretch even for a team as good as Baylor.
