South Carolina is now 21-0 following their win over Mississippi on Sunday afternoon. The Gamecocks got off to a slow start in that contest, but a late first half run put the game solidly in their favor. But this team is about to face their toughest road games of the year since their trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium back on December 7th. On Thursday the squad heads to Georgia, which should be their toughest SEC road game to date. And then on Monday the 9th, the Gamecocks go out of conference for the women’s basketball game of the year against Connecticut. Even if South Carolina can stay perfect through those two games, they still have to play Tennessee, Mississippi State and Kentucky during the regular season.
