If the first few weeks of the season has taught us anything, it is that this season may not go as planned. It is possible that we don’t have a dominant team…or maybe we have seven or eight of them. Connecticut lost in overtime at Stanford and we all thought maybe the Cardinal are the team to beat this year. That lasted three days before Stanford fell to Texas. There is a long, long way to go and we still project Connecticut to be the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. However, there are still dates with Notre Dame (December 6th), Duke (December 29th) and South Carolina (February 9th) on the schedule. We will soon figure out if that loss to Stanford was just a fluke or if this team is actually beatable by top ten quality teams.
