9/29 Men's Soccer Bracketology Breakdown

UCLA Men's College Soccer

Last Four In: Maryland, Wake Forest, Cal State Northridge, Providence

First Four Out: Kentucky, Tulsa, SMU, Memphis

The six teams in the Pac-12 are al off to great starts. For now we have California, Stanford, UCLA and Washington in the bracket. That leaves Oregon State and San Diego State, as usual, on the outside looking in. The Beavers suffered a setback on Saturday with a 1-0 loss at Seattle, but they will make things interesting in conference play. Every game in the Pac-12 is going to be huge, but OSU must get results at home against Stanford and Cal. San Diego State is also on a bit of a slump. They lost their last two contests, which were their first two games on the road. They stay at home for their conference opener against UCLA. Everybody has a lot of work to do in the conference, but each team has been good enough to seriously compete for a tournament place. However, there is probably only room for four.
