Week 3 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

The ACC was full of surprises on Saturday. Virginia Tech lost to East Carolina in a 28-21 thriller, but that will not hinder their ability to compete for an ACC Coastal title. Virginia beating Louisville has larger implications. The Cavaliers are sitting at 2-1, with their only loss coming in a close 28-20 game against UCLA. That is not a bad loss by any means and this is a team that will reach six wins if they keep playing like they have been. However, the UVA schedule is brutal and the wins better come soon. Boston College is in a much better position to reach a bowl game. The Eagles shocked USC on Saturday night and have home games left against Maine, Colorado State and Syracuse and also have a very winnable road game against Wake Forest. If they win those, the Eagles will be going bowling.
