First Eight Out: UC Irvine, Maryland, Georgia, Indiana State, Dallas Baptist, Wake Forest, Duke, Davidson

The team of the week is the UCF Knights. After starting the season 7-11, the Knights have stormed back to take control of the America Athletic Conference. UCF currently has a 2.5 game lead on second place Louisville, who the Knights took two of three from last weekend. UCF is now 25-16 on the season and have another showdown looming with Houston in two weeks that could secure a conference championship for the Knights. Another team that had an impressive week was TCU, who swept a Top Ten Texas team and bolstered their NCAA Tournament resume.
