No team is moving further up the bracket pecking order than Texas A&M. The Aggies struggled mightily away from home during non-conference play. They lost at Penn State and fell to Texas, Syracuse and St. John’s on neutral floors. So coming into last week, many expected Texas A&M to struggle on the road against LSU and Georgia. Their last win away from home was back on November 28th and their only true road wins came against North Texas and Houston during the first week of the season. But a tough defense led to two huge SEC road wins. Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams did enough scoring, but both the Tigers and Bulldogs were held to under 50 points and shot below 30 percent from the floor. If the Aggies defense can keep it up, this is a group that can make a serious run at an elusive SEC title.
