It was a pretty tough week for the SEC. It started on Wednesday when South Carolina suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of North Carolina. That same day Vanderbilt barely survived in overtime against James Madison. A day later 10-1 Missouri lost to Missouri State. Over the weekend LSU fell at North Carolina State, Georgia lost to Rutgers, Stanford beat Tennessee, Texas A&M stumbled in New York and Kentucky lost at home to Duke. Of course the conference is still one of the best around, but now there are some big questions about many of the top teams. Teams like LSU, South Carolina and Georgia really don’t have a quality win on their resume yet and it remains to be seen how they will fare in SEC play.
