There was a lot of movement this week among the programs who held out some hope for a trip to the BCS national championship game. Alabama, Ohio State and Oregon all won and Florida State jumped over Clemson. Those four are the best of the best for now. Meanwhile, teams like Louisville, Texas A&M, LSU and South Carolina are now all but out of the national title picture after losing over the weekend. But for every squad that moved down, there are others that are edging closer and closer to catching up with the big four. Stanford is one of those teams just a week after a rough loss to Utah. Missouri made a huge jump as well with another quality win. Miami is still perfect, but face FSU in early November and would have to win the ACC championship game as well. In the Big 12, Baylor and Texas Tech remain undefeated, but even one loss teams like Oklahoma and Oklahoma State should remain hopeful if they can run the table. Although, neither Oklahoma school has looked like that is a realistic goal.
