9/30 Men's Soccer Bracketology Breakdown

Charlotte Men's College Soccer

Last Four In: Charlotte, Cal Poly, Marquette, Wisconsin

First Four Out: UC Irvine, Providence, Penn State, Memphis

There was a lot of movement in the bracket this week as teams like Butler and Dayton proved they were for real and moved to the good side of the bubble. Both Butler in the Big East and Dayton in the A-10 face their toughest competition in conference play. The bubble in general is tightening up. Surely some tough conference gauntlets will weed out a few squads over the next month, but surprise teams like Providence and Penn State have set them themselves up for success throughout October. The movement in the bracket is not just on the bubble. In the Pac-12, Washington heads to Cal on Sunday for a huge early conference contest. UCLA opens against San Diego State before hosting the Bay Area schools. In a couple weeks the Pac-12 picture could look much different than it does now.
