Jalen Robinson MLS Draft Profile

Jalen Robinson MLS Draft Profile

Jalen Robinson, Sophmore, Defender, Wake Forest

Overview:

Jalen Robinson, like many other defenders, doesn’t get enough credit as a player. Robinson recorded time in 18 games last season and started 17 of them. He was able to tally two goals and four shots on goal. With two assists added to his stats, the freshman was able to log five points on the season.

Robinson has been on the national pitch for some time playing on the U-15 and U-17 teams. He was a starter for the U.S. U-18 National team and played along side fellow Deacon, Sean Okoli for the U.S. U-20 National Team camp.

Final Projection:

Robinson is a tough defender who also can step up and play midfield, a variable the pros look for. Able to play two different positions gives him an advantage over other defenders. Robinson’s national team experience alone, combined with his performance, shows that he is prepped and primed to move up to the next level.
