Memphis Tigers Add 5-Star Forward Shaq Goodwin

The state of Georgia's top talent this year, William "Shaq" Goodwin, will be suiting up for Josh Pastner's Memphis Tigers next season. The Decatur, Georgia native tweeted his decision Tuesday morning. He picked the Tigers over Florida, UCLA, Georgia, Miami, Tennessee and Arizona. He is ranked as a Top 5 power forward in the class of 2012, and is a huge get for Memphis.

He is an athletic specimen who can score and rebound at a high rate. He runs the floor like a deer, and dunks anything he can get his hands on. He will join AAU teammate Damien Wilson in the Tigers 2012 class. He is also a national Top 100 prospect. Now, Josh Pastner and his staff have their sights set on local stars Alex Poythress and Jarnell Stokes. If they can land either or both of these super talented forwards, Memphis will have a class ranked as one of the top in the nation for next year.
