Week 7 FCS Football Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: North Dakota, Nicholls, East Tennessee State, Rhode Island

First Six Out: Delaware, Northern Iowa, Central Arkansas, South Dakota, Missouri State, Chattanooga

Turmoil. Turbulence. Weekly changes to the FCS Bracketology.

Wofford was beaten by Furman and tumbled from a seed position to a road team in the First Round. Eastern Washington (to Weber State) and Elon (to Delaware) lost and fell from a seed positions to a First Round home teams. Jacksonville State, Illinois State and UC Davis all readily jump in the take those spots.

The bottom of the bracket saw major changes too. Montana plummeted right off the tree and rolled down the hill into a creek. Fellow Big Sky member, Idaho State fell off also. Ironically, the bubble is relatively small this week. A serious case could be made for Delaware, as could there for Northern Iowa. But those after the first six out are all with more flaws on their resumes than these six and those in the bracket.

The chances of that staying the same for the last five weeks of the regular season? Slim to none.
