First Eight Out: Providence, Nebraska, Utah, Washington, Mississippi State, Penn State, Marquette, Western Kentucky

Five teams have punched their tickets so far and there are many, many more to come. Michigan beat Purdue to earn the Big Ten’s automatic berth, while the rest came from one bid conferences. Loyola (IL), Murray State, Lipscomb and Radford will join the Wolverines in the field of 68. Lipscomb is the biggest surprise of the bunch. They were the #2 seed in the ASUN Tournament, but had to hold off Florida Gulf Coast to punch their ticket.
