Baylor has been flying a bit under the radar, by their standards at least, since their schedule has not been all that difficult. But the Bears faced a couple tough competitors this week and proved to be up to the challenge. On Thursday Texas came to Waco and Baylor got off to an early lead and cruised to an easy 81-56 win. It was more difficult on the road at West Virginia on Sunday, but the Bears defense buckled down in the second half and came away with an 83-72 win behind another stellar performance from Kristy Wallace.
