2018 NFL Draft Quarterback Rankings, Week 2

 

In what is considered to be the strongest QB class ever, the opinions of the ability of these QBs will shift from week to week so below is a chart of the rankings based upon what they have done in prior seasons and after Week 2 of the 2017 season.  Of course this will only be the strongest QB class if all or nearly all of the underclassmen declare for the draft. The 1983 draft class is the one that had 6 QBs drafted in the 1st Round and is the draft that others have been compared to.  The 1st Round of the 1983 draft went as follows:  1. John Elway - 7. Todd Blackledge - 14. Jim Kelly - 15. Tony Eason - 24. Ken O'Brien - 27. Dan Marino.

6.    KELLY BRYANT                JR.     CLEMSON                         Talented - limited experience

7.     BAKER MAYFIELD         SRr   OKLAHOMA                     Good with accuracy & improvising

8.     JARRETT STIDHAM       SOr   AUBURN                           Needs more time to develop.

9.     LUKE FALK                      SRr   WASHINGTON STATE    Benched & Head Injury in Week 2

10.     STEVEN MONTEZ         SOr   COLORADO                      Size, talent - needs experience

11.  RYAN FINLEY                 SRr    N.C. STATE                         Arm strength only issue.
