3/12 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: USC, Rhode Island, Providence, Vanderbilt, Xavier, Kansas State, Wake Forest, Marquette

First Eight Out: Syracuse, Illinois State, California, Houston, Mississippi, Georgia, Indiana, TCU

No matter what happens on Sunday, there should only be two teams left out with a legitimate hope to reach the NCAA Tournament. We project Syracuse and Illinois State will be the big losers of the selection show. The Orange have some huge wins, but a not so impressive record and RPI. Illinois State, on the other hand, has a gaudy 27-6 record, but just one decent win against Wichita State.
