Connecticut continued to cement its case as a team to beat once again this season as they handled another top team in Ohio State 82-63 last Monday night in Hartford at the XL Center. Napheesa Collier and Katie Lou Samuelson combined for 53 points and 15 rebounds and, as a team, the Huskies stepped up with a big third quarter where they outscored the Buckeyes 30-14. Texas A&M stepped up with a big performance against Syracuse to get a resounding 105-84 neutral court win down in Winter Park, Florida. The Aggies shot 60 percent from the floor and did a very nice job of attacking the basket, making 34 of 40 free throws against the Orange. Wyoming went on the road to Boulder and slowed down a red hot Colorado team last Wednesday. The Cowgirls got their first win over a ranked opponent since January 13, 2010. Liv Roberts nearly had a triple-double for Wyoming, scoring 21 points and grabbing 11 rebounds to go along with five steals to pace a very balanced offensive attack.
