Despite the best effort from the weather, conference tournaments eventually came to an end on Sunday and the automatic bids are all accounted for. The top 16 seeds have also been released. Still, there is plenty of speculating to be done as some teams hope to make the field, while others are hoping to be in a position to host the super regionals with a top eight seed. Teams like Coastal Carolina and Southern Miss made strong pushes at the end of the season to be host schools for the regionals, but were left out in favor of more SEC and ACC teams. TCU winning the Big 12 Tournament also pushed them into a regional host spot and likely knocked out Coastal Carolina. Also left out was the entire west coast, which means there will be lots of travel for the Pac-12 and Big West schools.
