Once again the Big 12/SEC Challenge went in favor of the Big 12. They won seven of the ten contests, highlighted by Oklahoma’s come from behind win at LSU and Kansas’ overtime thriller against Kentucky. But the news was not all bad for the SEC. Texas A&M picked up a nice win over Iowa State, especially after their loss to Arkansas earlier in the week. Florida also got a big home win over West Virginia. It’s not a surprise that the Gators won at home, but they controlled that game early and were able to just cruise through the second half. That puts Florida at 14-7 with some quality wins, so it was a big win for the Gators. Arkansas, fresh off their win over the Aggies, was the other SEC victor. They are sitting at 11-10, but are playing very well right now.
