1/17 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Marquette, St. Mary’s, St. Joseph’s, Florida, Texas Tech, Texas, Washington, Mississippi

First Eight Out: Oregon State, LSU, Houston, BYU, Clemson, Stanford, Ohio State, VCU

After a rough start, Clemson has now won five games in a row. The last two came against top ten ranked Duke and Miami. At the moment their 12-6 overall record keeps them out of the tournament. The fact that all their big wins have come at home could keep them out when all is said and done as well. The ACC road slate is pretty friendly all things considered, but it remains to be seen if this team can pull off wins at places like Florida State, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Georgia Tech. But first, Clemson can make a huge statement if they beat Virginia on the road on Tuesday night.
