Week 11 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

We are starting to believe that some teams in the Big 12 can make the playoffs. TCU beat a tough Kansas State squad 41-20 on Saturday and have a pretty easy schedule left. They head to Kansas this week, travel to Texas on Thanksgiving and finish up at home against Iowa State. The only one of those games that should even be close is at Texas. The Longhorns did beat West Virginia and are certainly capable of giving the Horned Frogs some trouble. TCU’s only loss this season was against Baylor in a 61-58 shootout. And the Bears are right in the mix of the playoff hunt now too after handling Oklahoma 48-14. That is the first time Baylor has ever won at Oklahoma. The Bears still have to face Kansas State on December 6th, but their last three games are all at home. If both win out, it will be very, very interesting to see how the stack up against each other and the rest of the country. When all is said done, after everybody else beats up on each other, the Big 12 could have two one-loss teams with serious playoff hopes.
